Cherishing the high noble thought “Service to humanity is service to God”- R.B. Attal College was founded in 1970 at Georai. Forlorn and forsaken by the Nizam, Georai was in extreme need of higher education. The College is situated in Beed district which is one of the most severe drought-hit districts in the country. The district is infamous for its startling hysterectomy records, rampant sex determination, female foeticide, and lack of education.

In spite of several constraints, the college has been able to grow in enrolment, programme options, infrastructure and visibility in the area. This has been due to meticulous planning, careful utilization of available resources, dedication of teachers and staff and a very responsive management.

Today the College stands as an edifice of Higher Education, catering to the aspirations of the rural masses of Georai taluka.

In keeping with the Institution’s high ideals of nurturing the youth of today for a better tomorrow, students are sensitized to cross-cutting issues and Constitutional responsibilities, through the curriculum and through sensitization programs.

The College offers 4UG, 3PG and 8 doctoral programmes. The College has 2 Research Centres, 14 Research Guides, 22 Teachers with PhD, Publication of 10 Patents and 50 Research Scholars pursuing PhD.

The college administration and staff are committed to work progressively to meet the demands of changing educational requirements. The key additions in physical infrastructure, fine tuning of teaching-learning activities with new learning paradigm, the addition of innovative online learning modules, the increased range of co-curricular/extra-curricular and extension activities,
